A few years ago I saw Mitch Joel speak at an online marketing conference. It was one of the best presentations that I have ever heard at an marketing convention. I left the day feeling inspired and full of new insights, recharged to take on new projects with some fresh ideas. He had mentioned his book Six Pixels of Seperation and I had planned to read it right away.
Well it took me a few years but I am almost finished and despite the fact is was written 2009 it is still very relevant. His post talks about all of the content online that is available for us to improve our skills and give us new insights. In addition to his tips I have a few books on my Summer reading list:
1. CTRL ALT Delete – a new book by Mitch Joel.
2. Purple Cow: Transform Your Business by Being Remarkable – by Seth Godin.
3. All Marketers are Liars – by Seth Godin
Thanks for the great advice Mitch.
