Keep Learning in 2015 – More FREE Courses for Every Marketer #marketing #freecourses

A few weeks ago I did a post going over some free marketing courses to keep you on top of your game in 2015. We all have limited time but I believe we need to take some of that precious commodity and keep growing professionally. Today after finishing an exam outside of those earlier resources I realized I forgot share a few obvious courses that are worth taking.

As online marketers we obsess about Google, our search rankings, the keywords we focus on, how our ads are performing. Google has some free Certifications that will help you get the results you need. They all live on the Google Partners Website. What you need to do is go to, https://www.google.ca/partners/, sign up as a partner and pick your certification to begin taking the courses. The available certifications are:

Google AdWords

For the AdWords Certification you need to pass 2 of the 5 exams with a passing grade of 80%. I just completed the AdWords Fundamentals course and it covers a lot. It is focussed on situations and how you can use AdWords to meet various business objectives. It isn’t an easy test so I recommend completing each lesson and then reading the study guide, all in all you should be able to complete it in a few days in your spare time. The course options are:

  • AdWords Fundamentals
  • Search Advertising
  • Display Advertising
  • Video Advertising
  • Shopping Advertising

Lots of content to help you on your AdWords journey.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is something that I love to look through and gain insights on how site users respond to websites. Setup properly and you can track goals, create a sales funnel and really get some valuable insights into the ROI of your online activities. I haven’t taken this certification yet, but it is next on my list.

The course covers basic and advanced Google Analytics concepts:

  • Planning and principles
  • Implementation and data collection
  • Configuration and administration
  • Conversion and attribution
  • Reports, metrics, and dimensions.

Everything you need to geek out on analytics and share important results with all stakeholders.

Hope these resources are helpful. Let me know if you have any other free marketing courses that you would like to share.
